Project Description

In this project, we were brought on to develop the key art and visual identity for Evil Sea, a crime thriller based on a shocking true story set in the vast and unforgiving Pacific Ocean. The film explores mutiny, survival, and the psychological unraveling of 33 fishermen isolated at sea.

The objective was to create a cinematic identity that captured the raw intensity and moral descent at the core of the story while positioning the film as a prestige, internationally marketable thriller. The visual system needed to resonate with global audiences and communicate tension instantly across theatrical, digital, and streaming platforms.

Our approach centered on atmosphere and restraint. We developed a dark, immersive visual language inspired by isolation, depth, and psychological pressure. Through controlled typography, layered textures, and a cold tonal palette, we crafted key art that reflects the film’s descent into chaos while maintaining clarity and market impact.
