Project Description

In this project, we were commissioned to develop the official teaser key art for The Rows, a supernatural horror thriller set within the isolating vastness of a rural cornfield.

The objective was to create a striking festival-facing image that introduced tone before revealing too much of the narrative. The poster needed to communicate vulnerability, tension, and psychological dread — positioning the film strongly within the elevated horror space while maintaining intrigue for early audiences and programmers.

Our approach centered on visual confinement and negative space. By embedding the protagonist within the towering rows, we transformed the cornfield into a suffocating maze — beautiful at first glance, but menacing upon closer inspection. The distressed title treatment and restrained color palette amplified the raw, unsettling atmosphere.

In addition to the teaser poster, we designed a limited-edition LP package, extending the film’s visual language into a tactile collector format. The vinyl design translated the same tension and organic texture into a physical object — allowing the world of The Rows to exist beyond the screen.
